Our skin is like a plant and we need to water it for it to bloom. This is where skincare comes in. As we grow up, our skin starts showing the most beautiful parts of its nature. We need to water it and let it bloom the way it’s supposed to.
Made from the distillation of fresh flowers, leaves, fruits, and other plant materials, Hydrosols are water-based products. The main difference is that Hydrosols are mostly water. They are much less concentrated than essential oils.
Products for skin care or aromatherapy frequently contain hydrosols. Although they have also been employed medicinally, further studies are required to demonstrate their efficacy.

Tips on How to Use Hydrosols:
- Mist is the best way to use hydrosol
- Rehydrate and refresh your skin throughout the day with hydrosol
- Apply your moisturizer just before it has dried when using it as a base under your moisturizer. This will hydrate the skin.
- So, do you put hydrosol on before or after moisturizer? You can use it over your moisturizer. You need to make sure that the moisturizer doesn’t contain a humectant that attracts and holds the moisture from the hydrosol next to the skin to boost the moisturization.
